Counselling Services
Welcome to Better Days Counselling, where online counselling services are provided to support emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment. The counselling services are led by Joy Choi with specialized training and experience in emotional stabilization, OCD & anxiety-related disorders, trauma & PTSD, stress & anger management, and life transitions and grief. Joy works with both adolescents and adults, utilizing various evidence-based techniques to support her clients.
Online counselling is a flexible and convenient option that allows clients to access counselling services from the comfort of their own home, eliminating the need for travel time and making it easier to schedule sessions at their convenience. This can be particularly beneficial for those with mobility issues, transportation difficulties, or busy schedules.
Joy recognizes that emotional pain can have a physical impact on the body and nervous system, and her goal is to help clients identify the root causes of their issues and emotions through evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a supportive, non-judgmental approach. She helps clients make positive changes in their lives and find peace and fulfillment, focusing on living in the present moment and reconnecting with themselves to regain self-compassion and improve overall well-being.
It is important to note that Joy is currently offering limited time slots for online counselling only. This decision was made because she believes that having a balanced personal and professional life is important not only for her own well-being, but also for the quality of the counselling sessions and her clients' healing journey.
